Hope you all are enjoying the long weekend so far. I don’t have any major plans for Labor Day. However, I’m very thrilled that I get an extra day to relax instead of going to work tomorrow which is always a plus! Last week, I went to a networking event for the launching of the North Carolina chapter of the Pan African Diaspora Women Association. I got the opportunity to have dinner with the African Union Ambassador to the United States and listen to her discuss the different ways in which girls and women can work together improve their counterparts in the continent of Africa. Today’s blog outfit is what I wore to the event.
For the top, I have a black off the shoulder blouse.
Then I have a colorful skirt. The fabric is called Ankara which is made of wax.
I paired the outfit with burgundy heels.
Finally for accessories, I have an olive green purse, a gold necklace and burgundy tassel earrings.
