Falling Into Fall

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I know I said I wasn’t going to post for a while because I was busy from work.  However, I find that when you’re going through a stressful period, that’s why it’s even more important to take time to do things that bring you joy instead of putting it on hold.  It’s probably going to be another two weeks before my next blog post.  It’s not because of work but for vacation.  It’s only starting to hit me now that I’m traveling to South Africa in 3 days!  I’m soooo excited and no I still haven’t started packing yet haha.  Make sure to follow my Instagram to keep updated with my outfits/adventures!

Another quick update, I have a new hairstyle!  I got braids, specifically Senegalese twists, because I’m traveling.  They are easy to maintain and I don’t have to worry about curling, flat-ironing or doing whatever else to my hair.  I can pretty much just wake up and go!  Also, here in Charlotte, we are finally experiencing Fall weather.  (I cannot wait to start wearing scarves, over the knee boots, hats and many other Fall/Winter accessories).  So today’s blog post features a Fall outfit!

I have a black embroidered ruana or wrap layered over a beige turtleneck.
