So as my title suggests, it snowed here in Charlotte. I’m pretty impartial when it comes to snow, but if it helps getting a 3-day weekend, I’m all for it! I spent my Sunday pretty much cooped inside watching Christmas movies. I had a completely different outfit to wear today, but given the weather, I had a improvise a bit. Still keeping with the Holiday theme, today’s blog outfit features a festive look during inclement weather.
For the jacket, I have a black and white coat that I picked up in TJ Maxx last month. I love TJ Maxx because you can find some great items at a good price. It definitely takes time to sort through the clothes, depending on how organized the location is. But I always find it worth the search! I paired the coat with a simple black turtleneck and black skinny jeans. I also have burgundy boots which I centered my outfit on because they are one of the few shoes I own that have grooves/traction on the bottom, are comfortable and stylish.
For the accessories, I have a burgundy chenille beret hat. I just realized I’ve worn a hat for my last few blogs and they really are a great accessory for this time of year to keep warm and stylish. Chenille is one of my favorite fabrics of the season because it looks so velvety and rich. I also have a plaid scarf and burgundy flower earrings.
