Color Block Wrap

Happy Sunday!

Hope it’s been a nice weekend for you all.  Mine was pretty chill as I spent it doing some planning and research for a trip to Europe that I’m taking in May.  I usually procrastinate when it comes to traveling, but I definitely want to get things finalized as early as possible so I’m not stressing days before the trip.  Finger’s crossed I’ll even get to packing earlier than the night before I travel lol.  I also planned my work outfits for this week which is something I try to do every weekend to save time in the morning during the work week.  So as I was looking at the weather forecast for this week, I noticed we’ll be getting warmer weather.  Then it hit me that the official first day of spring is this Wednesday, March 20th.  Now as most of you know, Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons as I really enjoy the holidays, festivities and I prefer the colder weather.  However, knowing how Charlotte gets, I wouldn’t be surprised if we still have some pretty cold days here and there so I’m not going to pack up all my Fall/Winter clothing yet!

So now on to today’s blog outfit!  I have a color-block wrap that I’ve layered over a burgundy turtle neck.  Wraps/ponchos will always be one of my favorite Fall/Winter accessories because they can keep you warm without having to wear a coat or jacket.  I like this wrap because it has so many colors meaning it will pair easily with most items in my closet.IMG_0767IMG_0773

Then I have grey jeans that I paired with black suede over the knee boots.  These are one of my most comfortable boots and I’m definitely going to try to to wear them even in the Spring.  IMG_0774IMG_0775

And finally, for accessories, I have a beaded tassel necklace and a floral embroidered clutch. IMG_0770IMG_0783
